Tourists visiting mumbai can spend lazy afternoon hours browsing through the display window of various shops. The eminent shopping places in mumbai include downtown mumbai, colaba, bandra, dadar etc..The affordable and trendy clothes and accessories sold in colaba causeway, zaveri bazaar, and fashion street are frequented by college goers and teenagers looking to make a quick buy.
THE BEST SHOPPING MARKETS IN MUMBAI...:

COLABA CAUSEWAY

The everyday carnival that is colaba causeway market experience is a shopping experience ike no other in mumbai. That famous indian saying of "sabkuch milega"(u'll get everything ) certainly applies at this market. A question that generaly pops up is WHAT TO BUY ?? well..colaba is famous for its handicrafts, books, jewelry, crystals, brass items, clothes.

LINKING ROAD, BANDRA :

A fusion of modern and traditional and east meets west is mumbai's hippest suburbs. Here streets stall contrasts with brand name shops and you'll  find an Indian roadside food vendor on one side of the road and a kentucky fried chicken outlet on the other. something that this place is famous for is traditional clothes, children's clothes, bags, footwear, belts.

FASHION STREET :

Fashion street is literally just that - just that a street  lined with fashion ! There are around 150 stalls here. The market attracts hoards of teenagers and college students who come to grab the latest western clothes and fake brand names at cheap price.

CHOR BAZAAR :

Navigate your way through crowded streets and crumbling buildings , and u'll find chor bazaar nestled in the heart of muslim mumbai. This fascinating market has a history spanning more than 150 years.its name means"theives market", but this was derieved from the british mispronounciation of its original name of shor bazaar meaning "noisy market". Eventually stolen goods started finding their way into the market ,resulting in it living upto its new name .
